Add group-assigned Incident notification
To subscribe to notifications for Incidents assigned to a group (while not deleting the individual assignment notifications you already receive)
- In the Overview Console or Incident Management Console, click the My Profile link under General Functions
- In the People window, click the Notifications tab
- Click the Update Notification Preferences button beneath the Notifications table
- In the Notification Preferences window, click the Create button (bottom of window)
- In the Notification Event tab, use the drop-down menus to configure the notification
- Module Name = Incident
- Notification Event = Assignment
- Support Company = North Dakota University System
- Support Organization = your organization
- Support Group Name = your support group name
- Status* = Enabled
- Pager Notification* = No
- Use Business Hours* = No
- Use Business Holidays* = No
- Individual Notifications* = Yes
- Group Notifications* = Yes
- Notification Method* = Email (do not choose Alert)
- Click the Add button
Now you will receive an email notification when an Incident is assigned to your group but not to another individual within your group.
